SUSTAINABILE ARCHITECTURE
Architecture, as an important
aspect of the ongoing expression
of any culture and its basic values,
is currently at a vitally important
threshold. For the first time in human
history, the ecology of the earth is
being profoundly and irrevocably
affected by the human beings who
now inhabit all parts of its surface.
The majority of the major ecological
problems, such as irreversible climate
change, that are now beginning to
beset all life forms are as a result of
the complex web of activities related
to human habitation and activity.

The role of architecture is to provide
innovative individual solutions,
which will show a more responsible
approach and ways of building more
appropriately. Each project, by itself,
will have a negligible impact, but as
a means of changing attitudes and
values, the possibilities inherent
in even very modest projects are
immense.
significant MN+A projects which have
addressed the issues of long term
sustainability include... IXL Atrium
Forestry EcoCentre
Greening Australia Headquarters
The Springs EcoTourism Resort
Well Blow Me Down
